Proverbs 16:32.
"He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that rules his
spirit than he that takes a city."
Anger is a normal, healthy emotion. However, it can be a problem if you find it difficult to keep it under control
Nothing good ever came from anger.
It destroys
relationships.
It destroys lives.
It’s very hard
to live with an angry person.
If you are calm,
you will have better control over your life.
If you could control
your anger, you will be more responsible and trustworthy.
As Christians,
it is better to live at peace with your neighbors, and let go of anger.
It brings
nothing but trouble.
Ephesians 4:31,32 "Let all bitterness,
and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with
all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you."
When you display
the fruit of the Holy Spirit, there won’t be any room for anger in your life.
Everyone is angry from time to time, but when you lay aside your anger and
forgive each other, your lives will be loving and peaceable.
It’s easy to be
angry at situations and hard to forgive.
If living a
peaceful life were easy, there wouldn’t be strife in the world.
Living a
peaceful life takes patience and will power.
It takes a lot
of practice to make the change to a peaceful life where bitterness, anger, and
resentment do not have a place to live.
It’s not too
late to live a peaceful life.
Let’s pray:
Father, help me live a peaceful life, free of anger and bitterness. In Jesus’
name, I pray, amen.
