SELFISH IDEAS
THAT CAN RUIN YOU part 2
BIBLE
VERSE OF THE DAY
James
3:16 "For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and
every evil thing."
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
The sin which is indulged to the greatest extent, which separates us
from God and produces so many spiritual disorders, and which are contagious, is
selfishness. Ellen G. White
If you are not very careful
with some things, you would have forgotten you've been acting selfishly. These
are some ideas that will reveal to you if you are selfish or not.
1.
When your shoe rack look as if you are selling shoes
and there are people in your church, school, or friends who has been exchanging
2 shoes all along. You saw it but closed your eyes to it. That is atom of
selfishness.
2.
You have food, your neighbour is hungry and he/she
has been complaining they are hungry, yet when you are ready to eat, you
stylishly take the food to a separate place and eat because you think it can't
be enough for both of you.----- That's selfishness
3.
You have cars in your compound as if you are selling
them and that fellow in your church/whatever is climbing bicycle with his wife
and 3 children. Then you will stand afar and say; "this man don't wound
yourself because what you are doing is too risky" --- special adviser.
That is a total selfishness.
4.
You have several houses and still building more yet,
you can't release the frontage of one of them for home fellowship. It is well
with you.
5.
Your wardrobe is filled to the extent that you
always change your wardrobe quarterly. Have you forgotten the motherless?
6.
You have bought different landed properties in your
country and beyond and now, your is begging for money to buy a land to build
another church and you just closed your ear to it?
7. when you kill another person just because you want to have your way
Don't
live your life as if you will not die.
It's never too late to start
over. If you weren't happy with yesterday, try something different today. Don't
stay stuck. Do better.
