MY HUSBAND, MY
CROWN 2
God is preparing your husband.
Only God is fully aware of the
necessary ingredients needed to complete His plan.
Don’t tamper with His recipe.
Treat your husband with tender
loving care.
Make full use of opportunities
to truly be a helpmeet
Tips needed:
Value his ideas and opinions.
You cannot totally ignore or
ridicule his tastes and opinions.
Take into account your husband’s
opinions when dressing, cooking, decorating, or making personal decisions.
Willingly and cheerfully submit
to him in every way.
Colossians 3:18
Be aware of his weaknesses and
defeats. This will be easy if you dwell intentionally on his strengths.
If he occasionally becomes
tired and irritable at home, try to meet his needs and calm his spirit. Saying
“Dad is really in a bad mood. I wonder what his problem is?” to the children
may cause him to lose the respect of his children. A much more appropriate
response might be “Dad worked a very long day today. He must be really tired.
Let’s leave him alone for awhile so he can rest.”
Be willing to “cover” for him
when needed. You may find that he will do the same for you when you are feeling
weary of your duties.
Proverbs 10:12
Never stop looking for
opportunities to praise.
Whether you’ve been married for
ten days, ten months, ten years, or ten decades. Why? Because praise is an
expression of a heart that loves (I Corinthians 13:3-8)
