DON'T SELL IT
I Kings 21:3 "but Naboth said to Ahab, 'The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you'"
Christianity is
being compromised with different explanation.
There is no
difference between a believer and unbeliever.
the love of
money has taken over the day.
women can sell
their bodies just to get what they want.
Christians marrying unbelievers
is no longer a tobaoo.
this is my view
about the story i read in I Kings 21.
Naboth had a
vineyard.
the vineyard was
Naboth inheritance.
They've been
warned by God against the selling of inheritance. Numbers 36:7
King Ahab wanted
to use money for the exchange of Naboth's vineyard but he refused to sell his
inheritance.
King Ahab made
another offer to Naboth-- the offer is getting him another land better than
this in a better place. Naboth refused.
Naboth had
the courage of his convictions to stand up for God, truth and
righteousness. Though it was costly.
What made Naboth
stood his ground is:
1. Naboth obeyed
God.
2. Naboth is not
a lover of money.
3. Naboth did
not sell his birthright like Esau did.
Naboth could
have sold the land with explanation that ---- it is the respect he had for the
king that made him sold the land.
Lessons
1. Don't sell
your integrity
2. Obey God and
never disobey with explanation.
3. Please do not
sell your inheritance.
